The Diary of Anne Frank

Winner of the Pulitzer for Drama and Tony Award for Best Play, The Diary of Anne Frank is a compelling dramatization of Anne Frank’s experiences as a young Jewish girl hiding with her family from the Nazis for two years before being sent to a concentration camp. It’s a hauntingly beautiful story and a testament to the power of the human spirit.

The story takes you to the annual Harper’s Hardware Holiday Party in 1958 where we meet the Wonderettes, four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts. When Santa turns up missing, the girls use their talent and ingenuity to save the day. Great holiday tunes: “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Sleigh Ride,” “Santa Baby,” and 20 other seasonal favorites.

Steel Magnolias is a comedy/drama about the bond among a group of women. The story takes place in a beauty parlour and is filled with hilarious repartee and humorously revealing verbal collisions. The play draws on the underlying strength and love of these friends. Great fun for groups of women and couples!

Love, Loss and What I Wore was written by Nora Ephron and her sister Delia and based on the best-seller by Ilene Beckerman. The play uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that all women can relate to, creating an enduring theatergoing experience.

This family event features an evening with the characters from Annie, Games, Carnival, Dancing, Entertainment, Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides, Food, Photos, Crafts, Contests and a Silent Auction to raise monies for education classes for kids.
